Water Baptism: An Outward Expression Of Inner Faith

Water baptism is a significant and powerful milestone in the life of every believer. It is a public declaration of your personal faith in Jesus Christ and an act of obedience to His Word.

What is Water Baptism?

  • A Symbol of New Life: Baptism beautifully illustrates Christ's death, burial, and resurrection. As you go under the water, it symbolizes burying your old life; as you come up out of the water, it declares that you are a brand-new creation in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:17).

  • A Public Declaration: It is a joyful announcement to your church family, friends, and the world that you have committed your life completely to following Jesus.

Who Should Be Baptized?

Every person who has personally made a decision to receive Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord. Baptism follows salvation, it is your very first step of obedience after saying "yes" to His love.

Ready to Take the Plunge?

Living Faith Family Worship Church hosts Water Baptism services throughout the year right here on-site at Grace Acres. While these services take place year-round, our primary, church wide focus is celebrated every year during the month of September.

What We Provide

We want this milestone in your spiritual journey to be as seamless and memorable as possible. LFFWC provides everything you need for the day of your baptism, including:

  • A fresh towel

  • An official, personalized Baptism Certificate to commemorate your step of faith

To help you prepare for your baptism, please keep the following guidelines in mind:

  • What to Wear: Please wear or bring dark-colored, modest clothing to be baptized in (such as a dark t-shirt and shorts or pants). Avoid white or light colored fabrics, as they can become see through when wet.

  • What to Bring: Please bring a plastic bag for your wet clothes and a complete change of dry clothing to change into immediately after the service.

Foundational Scripture:

Matthew 28:18-19 – "And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, 'All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.'"

Church Membership: Planting Your Roots in the House

God never intended for believers to walk out their faith alone. He designed us to thrive within a local church community. Membership at LFFWC is about moving from being a guest to becoming an active part of the family, locked arms with a spiritual house focused on family restoration and Holy Spirit empowerment.

Why Corporate Membership Matters:

  • Spiritual Alignment: Membership signifies that you stand in full agreement with the vision, mission, and foundational scripture pillars of LFFWC, ready to Lead, Love, and Liberate alongside our pastoral team.

  • Spiritual Accountability & Growth: It places you under the spiritual oversight of shepherds who genuinely care for your soul, helping you cultivate your supernatural spiritual gifts.

  • Belonging to a Family: It anchors you in real community. You aren't just filling a seat; you are a vital part of the body, supporting one another through prayer, fellowship, and service.

How to Become a Member:

1. Attend Consistently

Simply join us for our regular corporate worship services. Faithful, consistent attendance is the foundation of our community and the first step toward membership.

2. Discover Your Place to Serve

As part of the LFFWC family, we help you find where your unique gifts fit—whether in the Ministry of Helps, Sunday School Youth Ministry, Praise & Worship, Security, or Media & Production.

3. Be Officially Welcomed

Once you've made LFFWC your regular church home, our pastoral leadership and senior elders will publicly welcome you during a special Sunday corporate celebration!

Foundational Scripture:

Ephesians 4:16 – "From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth... maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love."
