Water baptism is a significant and powerful milestone in the life of every believer. It is a public declaration of your personal faith in Jesus Christ and an act of obedience to His Word.

• A Symbol of New Life: Baptism beautifully illustrates Christ's death, burial, and resurrection. As you go under the water, it symbolizes burying your old life; as you come up out of the water, it declares that you are a brand-new creation in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:17).

• A Public Declaration: It is a joyful announcement to your church family, friends, and the world that you have committed your life completely to following Jesus.

Every person who has personally made a decision to receive Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord. Baptism follows salvation—it is your very first step of obedience after saying "yes" to His love.

We host Water Baptism services throughout the year right here at Grace Acres. We provide everything you need, including a change of clothes, a towel, and a baptism certificate.

Foundational Scripture:

Matthew 28:18-19 – "And Jesus came and spoke unto them, saying, 'All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.'"

1. Attend our Membership Class: A casual, split-session class where you will learn about the history of LFFWC, our core values, our Statement of Faith, and how our ministries operate.

2. Discover Your Place to Serve: As part of membership, we help you find where your gifts fit perfectly—whether that is in the Ministry of Helps, Sunday School Youth Ministry, Praise & Worship, Security, or Media & Production.

3. Be Officially Welcomed: At the close of the class season, our pastoral leadership and senior elders publicly welcome our new members during a special Sunday corporate celebration!
